Getting Started
At our first meeting we discovered that we all have an interest in using Slime and Emacs. There is also interest is trying use CUSP, and Eclipse Plugin for Common Lisp. Either way, we decided that we would try to use Steel Bank Common Lisp.
After trying various options, the easiest thing for me was to just download ReadyLisp. I could immediately start writing and running code using ReadyLisp. ftp://ftp.newartisans.com/pub/lisp/ReadyLisp-1.0.12-10.5.1-2.dmg is the link for the Leopard version of it. I am running the Tiger version ftp://ftp.newartisans.com/pub/lisp/ReadyLisp-1.0.10-10.4-x86.dmg .
